Anti-Aging Skin Care: The Bellanina Guide to Younger Looking Skin
We have listed the most common aging skin concerns and some of the most popular Bellanina products we recommend to correct them.  Just scroll down to find the aging issues that are concerning you!

Fine Lines/Wrinkles:

Fine lines and wrinkles are perhaps the most common complaint for people with mature skin. Whether you have faint surface lines or deep furrows, your skin needs extra care to reverse this damage. Much of this damage can be attributed to facial holding patterns (frowning), sleep habits (face down) and environmental or behavior damage (tanning, smoking, etc).
The Solution:
Mature skin often needs extra care when it comes to exfoliation (removing dead skin cells) and hydration. By adding a simple hydrating masque to your weekly skin care routine, you can make dramatic differences in the overall appearance of your skin. A light serum or good moisturizer will also make a huge impact when used on a daily basis.
We Recommend:
Salicylic Enzyme Exfoliant & Masque: Remove dull, dry skin to reveal more youthful, radiant skin below with our Enzyme Exfoliant. Active ingredient salicylic acid along with extracts of black walnut, licorice root, burdock, slippery elm and wild yam root and essential oils of orange, mandarin and sage.
Age Repair Stem Cell Serum: Using plant stem cells to protect skin stem cells, this serum confers age-delaying and anti-wrinkle effects. A novel technology has enabled the cultivation of a rare Swiss apple, Uttwiler Spatlauber, which is extremely rich in phytonutrients, proteins, and long-living stem cells. These qualities give the apple excellent storability, and therefore, great longevity potential.

Eye Wrinkles/Crow's Feet:

Wrinkles around the eyes develop slowly over time but can begin to appear as early as your 30's. This can be caused by many factors including habitual squinting, loss of moisture and fatty tissue around the eyes and even smoking. Because the skin around the eyes is much thinner, these lines are often not as deep as other facial wrinkles.
The Solution:
The delicate skin around the eye generally requires a much lighter moistuzer than would be used for the body, hands or even the rest of the face. Any product applied to this region should be done very gently to prevent further damage to the skin.
We Recommend:
Alpha Lipoic Eye Creme: Essential and powerful anti-aging therapy for the delicate eye area. Appearance of puffiness, fine lines and dark circles will diminish with continued use as you protect against the future signs of aging.

Lines around the mouth/lips:

Often called "smile" or "laugh" lines, the delicate skin around the mouth is susceptible to lines for a variety of reasons. Much like the eyes, repetative movements and holding patterns are a primary culprit for lines around the mouth to develop over time. Even seemingly simple habits like chewing gum can cause a break down of collagen and elastin around the mouth.
The Solution:
Just like the eyes, proper moisturizers that are targeted for the face play a critical role in reversing existing damage and helping to prevent new lines from forming. Many moisturizers also contain an SPF30 which will further protect the skin against potential damage from the sun.
We Recommend:
Intense Moisture Repair Creme SPF 30 To help beat the sun, this incredible moisturizer comes with a UV barricade and SPF30 rating, thanks to Zinc Oxide and Octyl Methoxycinnamate. These two well known sunscreen ingredients are among the most effective and reliable UV protectors on the market.
Active Daily Moisturizer: A light formula is for the active person with normal to oily or combination skin who wants light hydration along with sun protection.

Dark Under Eye Circles:
There are a lot of reasons dark eyes develop and they can make you look years older than you really are. Fatigue is generally blamed but there are many other reasons this develops, including the natural aging process.
The Solution:
Since the cause can range, the solutions are wide as well. If you are concerned that your dark eyes may be the result of an underlying medical condition, see your doctor. Try to avoid rubbing your eyes and make sure to get plenty of rest. If your dark eyes persist, there are some great topical skin care products to reduce the appearance of dark eyes.

We Recommend:
Dark Circle Diminisher: This potent serum utilizes soy peptides, seaweed extract, as well as hyaluronic acid to treat signs of aging and dark circles under the eyes.

Dry skin:

Mature skin loses supportive tissue and there is a decrease in moisture content which causes the skin to appear dull and lackluster as we age.
The Solution:
A good moisturizer can help but often times mature skin requires extra hydration to pentrate the surface layer of the skin and help restore proper hydration. These are usually specially formulated serums that are applied before you moisturize either in the morning or before you go to bed. Remember - these are not a replacement for a good daily moisturizer.
We Recommend:
Alpha Lipoic Serum: For smoothing fine lines and firming skin without surgery. This incredibly potent face lift in a bottle will help you slow the visible signs of aging via the powerful universal antioxidant Alpha Lipoic Acid.
Copper Peptide: Copper Peptide promotes collagen and elastin synthesis, wound healing and reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Sun Damage
It is no secret that the sun causes damage to the skin over time and the higher your exposure, the more damage to your skin. Wearing a good SPF 30 is a great way to help reduce this damage but after reversing these effects (such as wrinkles, uneven skin tone, lines, etc) is another story.
The Solution:
When the skin has been damaged by free radicals and UV rays, it is important to use skin care products designed to reverse these effects. This usually involves reaching the skin on a deeper cellular level. Many products can help to reduce fine lines, wrinkles and skin dark spots over time.
We Recommend:
Vitamin C Serum 12%: Vitamin C is a potent, anti-aging ally in the repair and good health of our skin. Our Vitamin C Serum 12% makes best use of the powerful skin-supporting elements of L-ascorbic acid to win the battle against free radical damage, unsightly dark spots and collagen loss from sun damage.
