Professional Kit$3.68 2007 (larger product sizes and 2 more products: Advanced Protection SPF 30+ and Mandarin Cleanser)

Is it ok to substitute other products such as a cleanser or moisturizer in the Bellanina Facelift Massage?
The Bellanina Botanical Products have been specifically designed to work together as a complete treatment. For example: Some cleansers may contain an alpha hydroxy acid such as glycolic acid that would irritate the skin if it was applied four times to the face and massaged in to the skin. If you have a client with a special concern please call Bellanina Institute for a recommendation at 1-800-235-2844.

Do your products contain parabens?
Bellanina Institute added a line of natural, organic and paraben-free products [Bellanina Naturals] in the beginning of 2008 and theMandarin Cleanserhas been reformulated to be paraben-free and is available.

As stated in this U.S. Food and Drug Administration article, the total daily “dose” to the average consumer is way below the upper limits of safe use of parabens. Many of our company’s products do contain some tiny amount of parabens to preserve the product and to protect the consumer from microbial growth in the jar after it is opened, but it is the smallest amount possible to effectively achieve those goals.

Further, to the extent possible, other more natural product protection ingredients are used, sometimes in conjunction with the parabens so that the amount of parabens in the product can be lower. Some of those more natural preservative ingredients are grapefruit seed extract, phenoxyethanol, potassium sorbate, sorbic acid, tocopherol (vitamin E), retinyl (vitamin A), and ascorbic acid (vitamin C).

All in all, the Bellanina Institute has been very careful with product selection and recommendation and will continue to keep abreast of current research in the area of paraben use.

Do any of your products contain Squalene or Squalane and what is the difference?
Squalene is a natural organic compound originally obtained for commercial purposes primarily from shark liver oil. Squalane comes from botanic sources including amaranth seed, rice bran, wheat germ, and olives. All higher organisms produce squalene, including humans.

ABOUT FLM TREATMENT

May I perform the Bellanina Facelift Massage on someone who has facial warts?
Avoid working on a face with facial warts. They possibly may spread. If the towels, products bottles, etc. are not completely disinfected, there is a good chance the warts will be spread.

How long can I expect the results from a Facelift Massage to last if I continue with the home care regimen?
It depends. As no face is alike. Existing tone and elasticity play a role in the degree of firmness in 8 to 12 sessions. Also, the closer together the session (i.e. three times a week vs. one time a week) is the greater the toning. We can't make promises. However, we can see noticeable improvement in a few sessions - that is always the feedback, sometimes in as few as two or three! Now, as to the home care, whatever degree the improvement is, it can be kept up by active, self massage if done properly. As the home care products start to affect the skin cells, they will see a noticeable improvement in the actual 'wrapper' or outer layers of the skin.
