Bellanina Institute's mission is to educate, inspire and enhance the development of massage and skin care professionals, as they create beauty and total well-being within their communities.
Bellanina Institute (formerly The Belavi Institute) promises you excellent skin rejuvenation treatments. The techniques we teach are founded on the research and experience of Belle Tuckerman and Nina Howard.
Kathryn Myers Chief Executive Officer and Owner
Kathryn joined the Bellanina team as Chief Executive Officer in December 2010. Kathryn is a graduate of the University of Michigan Ann Arbor and has a strong business background spanning 30 years. She has held many leadership positions including President of Border's Group Stores.
Nina Howard Retired Owner
Nina is a multi-talented, forward-thinking entrepreneur who has built the Bellanina brand form the ground up to a successful spa, spa training business, and skin care product line. Nina was a Licensed Esthetician, Massage Therapist, Polarity Therapist, Skin Care Educator and Artist.
Belle Tuckerman Retired founder of the Belavi Institute
Belle was a massage therapist, certified medical esthetician, author educator, researcher on skin technology and a yoga aficionado. In 1982, Belle opened the BodyMind Health Retreat in Dana Point, California where the Facelift Massage became a well known and highly sought after treatment. In 1987, she created the Belavi Facelift Massage System seminar program for professionals, and the Belavi line of all-natural skin care products. She opened the Belavi Institute for Skin Rejuvenation in 1994. In 2002, Belle sold the Belavi Institute to Nina Howard and moved into semi-retirement, continuing to give her specialized treatments to a few lucky clients at her office and offering research and continued support to the new Bellanina Institute in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
Bellanina Institute has trained thousands of students all over the world and developed a line of over 100 private-branded skin care, bath and body products.
